This giant pumpkin weighed 2,222 pounds at only 72 days on a certified scale. It was growing 43 pounds a day still and wouldn't have been long before it was a World Record. It went down due to a tiny rib split and if it wasn't for that it who knows where it would have ended.  My guess is close or past the first 3000 pound pumpkin.
It will be hard for me not to plant this seed that is crossed with my other big one Micheal Jordan that is currently over 21ft around.
